BUILD NOTES
-
Before powering on for the first time, check for shorts between the GND, +5, and +12 test points.
-
Values for all parts will be on the board.
-
The parts marked OUT, SEND, RETURN, and CV are all the Mono 3.5 Jacks – they are marked as such for easy troubleshooting.
-
On v1.0 – 1.1 boards, the screenprinted footprint for the 78L05 regulator is on the wrong side (it should be soldered on the same side as the power header and other components.)
-
On some earlier board revisions, the footprint for the 78L05 may have solder pads that are very close together – after assembly, use a multi-meter to test for shorts between the three legs!
